I have been able to improve in my Reading , Writing and Math. At Technology we did Wood work, Cooking and more. That i liked doing

.We have been learning about Survivor ,Tinkering toys Tools,Dinosaur and more .I also learnt how to be a role model i also learnt how to clam down

My goals for 2016

I want to achive House Captains and Movie Presenter and to be top in maths .

New Beginning

Hello my name is Shelford and i am 12 years old in year 7 My highlight of team 5 is meeting new people and teachers and going on trips like Rainbows end and camp in school and out of school.I also like learning new things that can help me in year 8 I have been able to improve in my Reading / Writing and Math Technology /Wood works/Cooking and more. We have been learning about Survivor/Tinkering toys Tools/Dinosaurs and , many many more I've learn’t heaps over the years and months that i have been here.2016 brings a new beginning to look forward to being a role model that are also the leaders of the school I have participated in ki-o rahi and many i hope that i can be sporty and play games tomorrow i want the teacher to be kick back and chill .

Our Poem

The Horror House

The room looks like a mess But I couldn't care less The t.v is beaming Throughout the rotting ceiling A harmless display? A treat for the eye? Perhaps, but be aware For appearances lie I looked in the draws And witnessed old rusty saws The room looked poor Pieces of the ceiling covers the floor                                                                                     Pieces of the wall has being tore                                                                                               The bed is covered In pieces from the wall It smells like trash It also smells like a man that had no shower year after year It feels like i’m in a monster's lair I can see a cool t.v but it dosen’t work The roof and floor needs to be clean without a smirk It looks like a dump area The bed felt like someone wet the bed There was lots of crack on the ground I can smell rat poo I can also see a rotten shoe I can hear rats running around I can also hear a awful sound I can feel something crawling up my arm As it makes its way  i feel really num This room is dirty and also it’s awful and needs more cleaning The floors are Beaming and the roof is screaming It smells like Garbage so much carnage need more varnish So the wooden floors won’t tarnish It looks like trash that has been smashed and clashed When i walk in the room the room gave way then i walked away so i could go to the cafe instead of going the hard way

Immersion Assembly

On Monday we had a immersion assembly.The first act was the Fiapoko parrot in Pt Dingaling this parrot was very annoying it kept bothering all the people.But then!!!!They called the Fiapoko parrot hunter with his Sapelu,Samala,axe.They killed the parrot and ate the parrot/KFC.

Then we had team 1 they were learning about zoo animal's adapting/evolving.Then Mrs King yelled "is that all" mostly everyone laughed like it was a comedy joke.But then Miss Eadie replied and said "No we have Karaoke".The song was Roar by Katie Perry.Some of the teachers started to telling kids to put thier hands up for volunteers to sing.Mrs King's daughter Marika won the competition the prize was a free trip to the zoo.

The next act was team 2 that were learning about Dinosaurs that adapted to kill there predators.They also had a visitor that was Barney the dinosaur .And learning about Paleontologist whats a Paleontologist is a person that studies dinosaur bones. Finaly we had almost finished our assmebly my favorite item was mr J it was a little movie about zaro then it was time to go back to class.        

When something went missing

                    On friday night

In the morning I woke up to have my breakfast then I asked my dad if i could watch tv he said “yes”.I sat down on the soft leather couch to discover that my tv had been stolen.  I saw my ranch slider door had been opened.  And there also was a giant hole in the gate. My dad was very upset and angry because of this incident. I was very scared and emotional someone had been in our house while we were sleeping. My new Baker skateboard, Diamond back bike, my dad’s ipad, gold rings that he had most of his life and his diamond watch were gone. His  phone and many more things were also missing.

My dad called the police who is our neighbour. I was very sad because we had been robbed and some of that stuff had not been insured. The saddest thing was that they robbed us while we were sleeping because what would've happened if we woke up to the intruders. We could’ve been hurt or worse!!!!!

When the police arrived we were so frightened that we were shaking. My dad kept telling us that it would be all right.The police took evidence and fingerprints and had talked to us about this incident that had occurred.

Now we have to save up for these things that had been stolen and they also stole my Brothers motorbike that they dumped at the beach. We found out who did it because they owned up and they had been arrested a week later i was very happy that they were caught and that we had closure.
