Today we had a activity that was in the Olympics in the olden days. We had 6 Choices I picked Equestrian races because I like the fact of the modern horse racing but there races were more competitive they had chariots that they sat and some of them sat the horses when there chariots were disabled by damage. More about the chariots some of the chariots were gold ,Emerald,rubys ,lapis lusi,diamond,sapphires...... and more        This is not one of the chariots is a Egyptians Tutankhamen

We were reading a book about spy's the book was called raven's last flight the activity was to make a drawing doc to show what we would have for weapons if we were spys

Shelford Te waka

 The story is called Te Waka and is written by Ian Trafford

The first page is about  these people how are going on a 4 day voyage on a waka called Te matangi  first they pray and place their hand on the mauri Stone meaning life force.

The second page is about them learning how to paddle The third page was about  them chanting and drumming on the waka  so they would go the right way The fourth page was them arriving at the beach and and getting to know everyone The fifth page them learning the haka
